France Design Week 2023: collaborations and invitations
To honor FRANCE DESIGN WEEK 2023 in Drôme, IMPRINTS-GALERIE, La FAB UNIT, BREST BREST BREST, IBO-DESIGN, and the agency joined forces to create an exhibition showcasing the best of Drôme's design talents.
La Forme is a collective exhibition celebrating the vitality and boldness of design in the Drôme region.
Under the theme VIVANT, VIVANTS ("Alive, Living"), designers from diverse fields (spatial, product, fashion, and graphic design) highlighted the transformative and innovative potential of design rooted in their region.

Expanded Space for the New France Design Week Exhibition at Halle Tropisme, Montpellier
Over the past three years, Halle Tropisme has hosted exhibitions showcasing the projects and creative processes of Montpellier designers. This year, the agency Entreautre, Camille Boyer, and Halle Tropisme teamed up once again to organize the exhibition. For the 2023 edition, we expanded significantly: the event took place in La Menuiserie, a 230-square-meter space within Halle Tropisme.
The agency and Camille Boyer curated and designed the exhibition, with valuable support from intern Lalie Mieres Lavado, a second-year art and design student at Lycée Jean-François CHAMPOLLION, whose insightful contributions helped make the exhibition a success.
With the dedicated efforts of Anaïs Perez and Bethsabée Gabbay from Halle Tropisme, we secured a much larger space than in previous years—perfect for the ambition of this edition: to showcase objects, typography, textiles, and more. This intentional sense of scale and breadth lent visibility and grandeur to elements often overlooked in daily life.

Design as a Driver of Regional Development
What economic and cultural value can design bring to a region in terms of vibrancy, new market opportunities, showcasing local expertise, and uniting stakeholders?
This was the central question explored alongside Emmanuel Thouan, Director of DiCI and APCI/France Design Week, Anne Racine, Director of Villa Carmignac and co-founder of the réseau Plein Sud, Caroline Naphegyi, founder of Design for Change, a member of Mondes Nouveaux, and Director of Studies at École Camondo ; and Thomas Merlin, designer at Fab Unit, during talks hosted by Intramuros at Paris Design Week.
Drawing from our varied experiences, we illustrated the impacts that design can have on a region:
Reviving Traditional Rammed Earth Techniques for Modern Needs
Furniture Designed to Last
Circular Economy in Urban Furniture Design
Super solide
We had the privilege of presenting the prototype of the Low Tech Cooler—a research-driven design project—during the Utopie Domestique exhibition by Super solide. Visitors were invited to explore an “ideal” living space adapted to an era of mindful consumption through a selection of designer projects and objects. This collection prompted reflection on more frugal lifestyles, challenging us to rethink everyday objects from complex and fragile devices to robust, low-tech solutions.
