TheSkills.app is a web and mobile training application that provides everyone with access to English courses entirely dedicated to professional practice. The exercises help users improve their English in measurable ways (up to level C1) while also validating technical training in specialized fields.

Showcasing the Experience
With years of experience teaching English, the Learn English Montpellier team initiated this project to specifically address professionals. The highly detailed content serves as the starting point for UX design: how can we showcase the depth and richness of the training when learners commit to dozens, or even hundreds, of hours of exercises?
The main interface for each course allows users to navigate between different levels (from A1 to C1) as well as between various classes and reviews by scrolling horizontally.
Design principles defined from the very first paper prototypes evolved throughout the design process. The graphic design choices are deliberately bold, with the goal of being identifiable in an office environment: “It should be clear that a colleague is training with TheSkillsApp!” The application itself was developed and animated by the ARPA3 team, and the educational and communication elements extend the graphic system for a coherent overall experience.
